It’s Aviva Rae Trustman (ART) whose name is on the sign above the door. (It’s also found on every piece of furniture David Marsh makes for us.) Besides being a partner in this venture, she’s the broker and boss at Art Realty, the other business we have in the back of the store.  She was born and raised in Tucson and introduced John to Bisbee over 30 years ago.
John Frazier is the other half of the operation. In addition to his responsibilities as head martini shaker and chief toy winder, he is also a realtor at Art Realty. In his past life he was a freelance copywriter. Two of his chapbooks, including Small Wonders: Thoughts on Small-Town Life and More Thoughts on Small-Town Life are available at Art Home, as is his novel Pinstripes.
Cooper is the third and not-always-silent partner, the orange-and-white Brittany you’ll sometimes see at the store keeping us company. Together, we live in a renovated century-old house about a mile up the canyon, close enough to walk to work. Practicing what we preach, our home looks very much like our store.
